City Knits Fisher Building Classes
Learn
to Knit
City
Knits has four introductory projects specially developed by Karen
to teach new knitters the most skills in the least time. After
completing these projects you will be able to tackle almost any
project! Initially you will learn to cast on, knit, purl
and cast off as you create a sampler scarf.
The other projects
are a simple seamed hat, rolled brim hat and learn to cable scarf.
These projects include various cast-ons, increases and decreases,
invisible seams, eye cord, buttonholes, cabling, seed stitch
and slipped stitch edges. Aggressive
Beginners can even start their first sweater that will knit all
these new skills together. Your pace is set by you and the amount
of homework you do. Each knitter is different and our instructor
will give you individualized attention with your progress. Students
may repeat this beginner series. Registration
Required. $60/6 sessions OR $15/session plus materials. Please
purchase your materials from City Knits beforehand.
