Books/Magazines
Wild Fiber Magazine - City Knits will now carry this amazing journal that covers all aspects of raising or gathering, processing and creating with natural wild fibers from around the world. This magazine provides the back story for all the exotic fibers that City Knits offers you.
On another note, Crochet Fantasy and InnKnitting will cease publication with the current issues. This family based company was hit hard by aftereffects of Katrina, and hasn't be able to recover. We will miss them. .

What's new with Needles?
Lantern Moon's circular needles from exotic hardwoods are ready for show time, and City Knits wants to make sure that our customers have the best selection ever. WE are excited to offer the Rosewood Circular Needles in the full array of sizes in both 16 inch and 32 inch circulars. No other wooden needles match the point or quality of finish of Lantern Moons. Look for expanded selections in straights, double points and short "sox stix," in the charming gauze bag. Lantern Moon Needles will be on their own charming bamboo spinner rack in the back, near the teaching table.
Lace Knitting Alert
Skacel has launched a new circular needle for lace knitters. Specially shaped tip for more "bite" as you knit into those pesky yo's and tighter decreases. A less slick finish to keep those lacey stitches from slithering away. We'll have the first available when they are introduced later this spring - so come check them out.
Finally in response to many requests - City Knits is pleased to offer Denise Interchangeable Needles. The new snap together technology is a big plus, in either the traditional blue and gray or new Pink.
For entry level knitters, we are proud to offer Chiao Goo Needles. A local automotive engineer with family in China has developed these great new straight needles to augment our circular needles from Plymouth.
