The DSO has reserved a section of
seats at the rear of the Main Floor reserved just for knitters & crocheters. The price
for Sunday afternoon concerts would be $25, normally $49.00 (you can
use the savings to buy more yarn). City Knits will be open before
and after each performance.
Tickets must be preordered to get the
special price and section. Bring your DSO ticket into City Knits within
a week of the performance (before or after), and get 20% off your yarn
purchase.

Pattern Collection for Pillow Tops
The
Harmony Knitting Stitch Guides, old friends from the 80's, are back in
print courtesy of Interweave Press. These classic treasures are now
available to a whole new generation of knitters in a wonderful new
format skillfully edited by Erika Knight. The three volume set
would make a great Holiday gift. To help celebrate the return of the
Harmony Stitch Guides, City Knits' staff are creating a collection of
pillow tops, inspired by the stitch patterns in the three volumes.
Preview the books today, check out our staff's handiwork and creativity
after January 1. The pillows will be on view in the settee up
front.
